2011 Gateway Medical Alliance Banquet

With two hundred twenty-two guests filling the reserved hall, the 2011 GMA banquet was an evening of good food and great conversation.  Guests heard exciting heartwarming stories of Moroccan lives impacted by dedicated GMA representatives giving donated medical equipment, providing physical therapy, using their training and skills, along with much work and perseverance.

A banquet of this size and quality does not just happen.  Each of the GMA banquets are planned a year in advance but the hard work has to wait until a month or so before and that is when Helen (GMA’s office staff member) and lots of volunteers put in many hours getting everything in place.

We are very grateful for the $45,000 plus that was donated at the banquet to help with GMA projects and support needs.  While this is only a portion of the budget needs that Gateway has, it provides needed assistance and helps to engage the guests to Gateway’s vision and accomplishments.

If you live outside of the area of GMA’s home region, you should consider having a GMA banquet.  We will assist with a check list to help with the planning and GMA will work with you on the program.
