There are several ways you can volunteer your time and expertise:
Work at our warehouse sorting, inventorying and packing medical supplies and preparing equipment for shipment. We normally work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 until 2. It's a great time. . . Knowing you're making a difference in the lives of others is a wonderful reward.
Pick up donated medical supplies and equipment (Gift-in-Kind or GIK) from the area where you live and/or work and deliver them to our warehouse in Kent. Donations are called into our office and pick-ups arranged from there.
Assist our office staff in tasks like completing mailings, tracking donations, and inputting inventory data. There are any number of jobs we can fit to your schedule.
Supply & Equipment Donations
Visit estate sales and garage sales and look for good useable medical equipment. Ask for it to be donated to GMA, or purchase it and give it to Gateway.
Cultivate new supply/equipment donors in your sphere of influence.
